Parks is a division of the Public Works Department. Rio Vista has seven (7) parks, a skateboard park, a basketball court and a boat launch and picnic area. We are committed to enriching the quality of life through family friendly neighborhood parks and other recreation facilities, while preserving the community's natural environment for the enjoyment of current and future residents, as well as visitors to our community.
Public Works is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the park facilities within the City, and master planning and preparing grant applications for upgrades or construction of new park facilities.
