Curbside Recycling

The City of Rio Vista currently has a franchise with Rio Vista Sanitation Service to provide curbside recycling to the residents of Rio Vista. Curbside recycling is included as part of your standard residential collection service, and it is picked up every other week. Please view the Recycling Calendar to see when your recycling is picked up.

Before placing in the recycling toter, please do the following:

• Rinse containers
• Remove all caps and lids
• Breakdown boxes

Please: Be advised that Rio Vista Disposal Service personnel are required to leave certain materials in toters or remove them from the collection process for the following reasons:

• Materials are contaminated
• Materials are not included in the program
• Materials are too heavy or large
• Volume generated requires special pickup
