Sales Tax Rate Change
In August 2012, the City Council approved the Rio Vista General Transactions and Use Tax Ordinance (Ordinance 665) for a measure to be placed on the ballot to increase the sales tax rate. In November 2012, the residents passed Measure O, a transactions and use tax which results in a sales tax increase of 0.750% scheduled to be operative on April 1, 2013.
