Miscellaneous Fees - Reinspections | When return trips to the site by an inspector are necessary due to failure of the permittee to be ready for inspections, failure to have permit documentation on site or comply with earlier corrections on a regular basis a reinspection fee shall be charged at the currenty adoped Employee Billable Rate for Building Inspector. | |

Res. 2006-005 1/5/2006 | Miscellaneous Fees - Investigation of work without a permit. | When a Stop Work Notice is issued for work being performed without permits or being performed beyond the scope of existing permits, a special investigation and inspection must be made before permits may be issued for the work. An investigation fee shall be charged equal to two times the amount of all fees required by this ordinance with a minimum charge of $150. The fee is additive to the permit fees. This provision shall not apply to emergency work when it can be proven to the building official that such work was urgently necessary, that it was not practical to obtain a permit before the work was commenced, and that a permit was applied for as practical. |

Res. 2009-127 / 12/17/09 | Affordable Housing | Building Permit fees must be paid as typical but developer may apply for reimbursement from City of Rio Vista Redevelopment Agency (Low/Mod funds) when the building is ready for occupancy; Affordable housing is defined as a residential housing unit that is deed restricted to preserve the unit for residents with income within limits set forth by the County Housing Authority. This provision will take effect upon the adoption of 2007-2014 Housing Element Update including policy related to the same. |

$404.00 for the first $25,000 (current construction value estimate) plus $10.51 for each additional $1,000 or fraction thereof to and including $100,000 plus $36.75 Administration Fee). Program expires July 1, 2010. This provision will take effect upon adoption of Garage Conversion Amnesty Program. Fees based on Actual Costs. Note: Ordinance regulating program to be submitted to Council separately.
